Shelter 2 is on the left as you enter the recreation area.
As of 5/3/14, the forecast for May 10 is "clear mixed with
showers, high 75°, low 64°.
Dress is "picnic casual."
The Shelter is reserved until 7:00pm ; the rec area is
open until 8:00 . Weather permitting,
guests may want to bring a picnic, musical instruments, lawn chairs, outdoor
games, fishing poles, rafts -- and enjoy the rest of the day in the park.
Shelter 1 also is reserved on that day, and there are picnic tables and grills throughout the rec area. If the
weather is pretty, the park could be crowded.
Carpooling is recommended.
